The last few days I had the opportunity to encourage a group of leaders at an event in Seattle.

It was my first trip to the land of Starbucks and I couldn’t resist a touristy trip to the top of the Space Needle. The view over the Puget Sound at sunset was amazing. In addition, we also visited the world famous Public Market on Pike street.

The Pike Place Fish Market is where we found all the fun. Check it out …

Out of all the places selling fish in the market (and there were many), the best was the one with all the fish flying around.

Is there something about the way you do things that sets you and your team apart from your competition? Is anybody laughing during office hours? Is there a sense of excitement among your coworkers?

If you want to gain a competitive advantage, perhaps you should think about having fun as much as you do production. Maybe it is time for you and your team to let a few fish fly … your customers might just pay to see it.
