One of the things I am most passionate about is trying to help leaders discover what they are born to do.

I see so many people who are trapped under the burden of expectations, not living in their sweet spot.

I admit, many times I find myself starting from the place of what others need from me rather than beginning with how I can best add value. I find it difficult to do my best when I am not aligned with what I do best.

Educator, John Dewey once wrote, “To find out what one is fitted to do, and to secure an opportunity to do it, is the key to happiness.”

I would add that it is not just your happiness that is on the line. It is better for everyone when you show up true to who you really

are.

Finding Your Way

If you have never taken the time to work through the process of discovery, I encourage you to start by reading our book, FINDING YOUR WAY: Discovering the Truth about You. The simple story will hopefully become your compass to discover the truth about yourself – that you were created for greatness with incredible gifts, talents, and passions.

If you want to find fulfillment perhaps it is time to make some changes. Remember, “To find out what one is fitted to do, and to secure an opportunity to do it, is the key to happiness.”

How much do you think the effectiveness of a leader increases when they spend the bulk of their time “doing what they do best?”
