As we saw yesterday there is no greater struggle a leader faces than that of self mastery.

While being intentional, disciplined, and consistent are the hinges, I’m convinced the linchpin is the power of your habits.

In his book, The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg writes, “This is the real power of habit: the insight that your habits are what you choose them to be.”

Hello! You really are in charge. You get to choose whether you will win or lose the self leadership struggle.

Why not make some time today to read, listen, exercise, rest, share, encourage, pray, and serve someone?

Developing great habits will help you remember that your leadership is not as much about you as it is about overcoming you.

Leadership Begins at Home,
