As a former teacher I always felt my goal was to teach my students to become self-learners, and make my role as the teacher obsolete. To me, there should be no greater goal in the life of a teacher or leader than to become obsolete! However, too many fear relinquishing the authority and power, but success is not in the number of followers but in number of teachers and leaders produced under one’s care.
