Blur … Overload

Speed, hurry, and noise. All indicators of a life of Blur.

But there is one last indicator that shows up when we lose our focus. It is overload.

Author Richard Swenson says, “Overloading is what we do when we forget who God is.”

Have you forgotten? Not sure?

Take a look at your life. If it is in overload mode, chances are you need to remember.

I pray each of you has a slow and restful weekend.

Leadership Begins at Home,

Randy

On a scale of 1 to 10, how close are you to overload?

By all definitions I am over loaded, but I suspect many who are serving The Lord would say that if they looked at their curcumstances through their own eyes. Each day I turn it over to Hime and He is more then able to accomplish what is needed. That takes all of the overload away. I do admit that from time to time I begin to look at the stormy seas and begin to fear but quickly I reach out my hand for my Loving Savior who never lets me down.

Indeed Randy captured my present feeling. When we are overloaded,we should surrender all to God otherwise we are saying we don’t need God.Can we carry on without him? Who can lift all the overload but him.Off load them.Keep trusting him.

OK, there are a lot of times I feel overwhelmed and overloaded. I think it is in those times that I forget that God is there and I attack it all on my own…
Thanks Randy for the reminder.

This is good, too, Randy. This made me think of something Pastor Ken said in his message yesterday morning. If Satan can’t make you bad, he will make you busy. That is such a common sense statement but it really struck me when he said that. I thought it went right along with your blog. I know I’ve been very guilty of being overly “busy” way too many times.
Great stuff. The Lord is really directing your steps.
