How long has it been since you have faced adversity? If you are a real leader, I’m guessing it has not been too long ago. Leadership is chalked full of challenges.
Yesterday I ran across this reminder, “Adversity is inevitable, discouragement is a choice.”
You might as well face the facts. Adversity is coming. But the circumstances surrounding your challenges don’t have to define your level of courage. Unfortunately, there have been many times when I have made the wrong emotional choice and allowed my circumstances to get the best of me.
If today finds you neck deep in discouragement, it is time to reset your heart and mind and see your obstacle as an opportunity to grow your character and integrity.
Remember, “Adversity is inevitable, discouragement is a choice.”
