There is an old Japanese Proverb that says, “One day with a great teacher is better than a thousand days of diligent study.”
It reminds me of something a friend told me when I started grad school. He said, “Take the professor, not the class.” It was great advice.
When it comes to being a great leader, being a great learner is vital. Leaders are learners.
During the coming week I encourage you to schedule a time to meet with someone who can teach you something.
Read, study, and even take classes if you want. But make sure you also find yourself a great teacher. Because “One day with a great teacher is better than a thousand days of diligent study.”

I love the idea, Randy!
Could you give us some tips and ideas on how to find that person (maybe in a future post)?
I will work on it Chris!
Such a great reminder every leader needs to remember. I make it a point to daily grow. Either through reading, listening, attending, or being around people that will allow me to grow.
