Go Big or Go Home

How big is your goal?
Perhaps it is just as hard to attempt something small as it is to take on something big?
Running three miles takes nearly as much effort as running five. You still have to change clothes, get sweaty, and shower the same number of times. Admittedly, the five miler requires a few more minutes of effort, but the pace is more sustainable. Three miles at a faster pace = comparable exertion.
The same can be said for a blog versus a book. A book seems harder, but trust me, a blog is no picnic.
In reality nothing easy, is easy. And nothing is too hard for a great leader who is a bulldog.
Why not give some thought to attempting something huge?
In his book, Built to Last, Jim Collins calls the ‘something big concept’ a BHAG. A Big Hairy Audacious Goal.
A true BHAG, according to Collins, is clear and compelling, serves as unifying focal point of effort, and acts as a clear catalyst for team spirit.
If you are going to go, why not go big? It might be easier than you think.

What is one big thing you need to attempt during the next 6 months?

Randy I like what Zigler says “if you aim for nothing you will hit it every time.” Nothing like floating through life with no focus.
Pressing on with excellence!
