With February only a week away, I suspect for some of you the resolution game is up, and you could use a fresh dose of motivation.

For the next few days, motivation will be our topic on the i2ileadership blog.

When it comes to keeping your motor running and staying the course when everyone says stay on easy street, there is one question that is more important than all the others.

Why?

Not, why is there one most important question. “Why?” Is the question.

In other words, why do you do what you do? Why do you want to do what you do? That one question goes to the very heart of motivation. Why? Why? Why?

I am convinced that if you can tangibly answer the why question, you are well on your way to staying motivated. For you, “Why?” might be a cause, a person, or a goal. It doesn’t matter. What does matter, is that you know your, “Why?”

Tomorrow, we will look at another layer of motivation. In the meantime, define your WHY?
