Are you demonstrating care for those you lead? Do they see you as a manager who demands or as a leader who cares? This week’s motivational minute is a reminder that genuine care leads to lasting impact and it will challenge us to examine how we are caring for those around us.
Here is an easy list of ways you can demonstrate care for those you lead.
Sharing Stories: Let the people you lead know more about you as you learn more about them.
Meeting Needs: Do what you can to show those around you that you care. Often times that is through meeting practical needs.
Celebrating Wins: Big or small, a step is a step. Celebrate progress, give attention!
Grieve Losses: When someone is hurting, make sure you take the time to empathize with them.
How much more fun would it be to work with your friends, rather than just people on a payroll?
