Everywhere I went this past weekend there was chocolate. Calorie after calorie of the dark stuff.
Don’t get me wrong. I love chocolate as much as the next guy, but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.
Over the next few weeks, there is a good chance you will find yourself around a lot of extra calories as you attend holiday parties and social gatherings. Don’t feel obligated to eat every time you are around food. Even a disciplined leader can become sidetracked.
Commit yourself to live by your priorities and the scales can say the same thing at the end of the month that they did at the beginning.
Reach for the fruit, instead of chocolate and cheese, and you will avoid the November flab and be ‘fit’ to lead.

Do you have a fitness goal for the month of November?

I attended a friends rugby match recently and I miss competitive team sports, I have committed to finding a masters swim team in Athens, GA where I live and work. Swimming is a pretty intense fitness goal considering I haven’t swam regularly for about two years. Leadership begins at home…
Swimming is a great way to stay fit. Thanks for the comment, Austin!
I don’t know if I can give up my chocolate… That is asking an awful lot of a guy…
