I’m back.  After a six week break the blog returns today.  I hope all of you have had an awesome summer.  I know I have.

The highlight for our family was a three week trip to China to work with English speaking students and teachers.  Check out the picture . . .

The shot was taken on the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, just outside of Lijiang in southern China.  It is in the southern most section of the Himalayas.  We were at 15,200 above sea level.  To put that in perspective, Pikes Peak is only 14,100.  Let’s just say that the air . . . well there was no air!

It was an incredible experience struggling with my family to reach the top, and worth the effort once we arrived.

As I begin a new year of leadership development, my desire is to go higher than I did last year.  My hope is that you will join me.  While it might be a struggle at times, I am confident that our efforts will pay off in the end.

Each weekday I will create a blog post that will hopefully challenge you to build a life of integrity so that you can maximize your influence.  Whether you lead a school, team, company, community, church, or family, I trust you desire to be the best leader you can be.

If you know of someone who can benefit from the blog, you can send me their email and I will add them to the list.

Together, I am confident, we can take our leadership to “new heights.”  The air will be rare, but the view will be worth it!

i2i,

Randy
