Albert Einstein once said, “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.” If that was his opinion then, what would he think now?
Einstein’s statement is a good reminder that every generation of leaders face the same temptation. Namely, to look for machines and devices to make work easier as opposed to keeping the focus on relationships.
Admittedly, technology is less messy than relationships. But if you want to push your product and turn a profit, you better keep your eyes on people.
Never forget you are in the people business.
It doesn’t take an Einstein to know that.

How does technology make it harder for you to focus on people?

Awesome message and reminder. Too many people, including business and organization leaders shield themselves behind technology and wonder why they have lost touch with the people they serve and desire to connect with!
So true, Coach!
